Background:
IntegratedBizSales.com (IBS) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Merchant Capital Bancorp, LLC. MCB was formed in 2003 to provide strategic advisory services to the business community. These services provide local business owners with expert consulting services on business ventures, business growth strategies, merger and acquisition planning.

As the business grew, the value of an intermediary service became apparent and intergratedbizsales.com was formed comprised of a partnership of sales, marketing and finance professionals.

Unlike traditional business brokers who participate in the sale and charge high commissions, the mission of IBS is to provide the business owner with the knowledge and power to effectively find additional capital or sell their business to a truly qualified buyer. Once a buyer is found and proper documentation provided, most small business owners are quite capable of talking to buyers and selling their own business only needing IBS to facilitate the process.

The business sales transaction methodology used today is inefficient, time consuming, costly and frustrating for those people and organizations involved. This can be compared with the Real Estate market 25 years ago. Although we recognize that the business sale transaction is more complex than a residential real estate deal, the Real Estate model provides a potential vision of a more efficient system. Still further, a large gap exists in the transactional support for the smaller Main Street business owner who wishes to sell. In general, he is inexperienced in the nature of the deal and the Business Broker community cannot afford to provide the necessary coaching and support to effect the transaction. Nor can the seller afford the typical fees required by brokers to support their activities. These businesses are destined to use the For Sale by Owner (FSBO) model with, in general, poor success.

Integrated Biz Sales (IBS) and Merchant Capital Business International (MCBI) have improved on this situation by providing a coordinated approach to aid business buyers and sellers using a technology based consultative and educational approach with mentoring and chaperone services available to the participants.

(2) Educational. Online tutorial and educational material is available on our website and through the various programs. (3) Consultative. MCBI’s analysts use a consultative approach to help the buyer and seller develop the criteria to determine their goals and optimize the results.(4) Broker Support by providing deal flow with "polished" sellers that have been educated and prepared. MCBI will provide the broker clients and an exclusive listing agreement. A co-broker fee split arrangement with the broker within the IBS network is required.
